Tackling Rugby - New PGSR for WarwickshireAn early morning trip under the Thames and up to Rugby in Warwickshire for a good contingent from Kent to see the Most Worthy Grand Supreme Ruler, Andrew Christopher Sweeney, install Wy Bro Dennis Andrew Freshwater as the new Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler for the Province of Warwickshire. 

A delightful ceremony was witnessed by the Deputy Grand Supreme Ruler, R Wy Bro Keith Furguson and a good representation from the Grand Team as well as a fine body of Provincial Grand Supreme Rulers and Provincial Officers and the very well represented Conclaves of Warwickshire.

The Grand Arch of Steel were present and performed their duties to the expected high standard including retrieving the Grand Sword Bearer's sword which had been previously taken into the temple by the Provincial team.









Paul King was attending in his official capacity as Grand Standard Bearer along with Scott Dunn as Grand Steward.

Scott was later pressed into service (some might say press ganged by the PGSR, Kevin Johnson) as a Steward at the lovely festive board which followed the ceremony. A festive board which was enjoyed by all those assembled, where friendships old were rekindled and new ones formed - the Almighty Friend of all Friends was surely in attendance and working his magic!
