Restart Initiative
The Province of Kent OSM started the Restart Initaitive in response to Wy Bro Pip Nevells’s wife Lin having a heart attack at home with Pip giving over 20 minutes of CPR and saving her life.
The scheme is fully funded by Kent OSM and is available to any Unit in any Order free of charge, (although we do accept donations to the Provincial Benevolent Fund).
Wy. Bro. Pip Nevell delivered the first ‘OSM Resuscitation Scheme’ seminar to Brethren of Mottingham Lodge, Nethinim Lodge and their families giving them an insight into First Aid.
From mastering CPR and defibrillator use to handling common emergencies with calm and confidence, the members and families are now even better equipped to support one another, their families and the wider community in times of need.
